As many chats just for you as you like

One for reading later, one for recipes, one for the trip: there's no limit. Each with its own topic, icon and history. They're encrypted with your key, so no one else can open them, not even us.

A title and a note on any message

Press and hold a message and choose “Private note”. The title appears above the message and the note below it. It works in your chats just for you and in chats with other people, and you can also add it before sending.

Only you can see it

The note is encrypted on your phone and the server only returns it to you. The other people in the chat don't see it or know it exists, and we can't read it.

Every link, with its name

In “Links” you have every link in a chat. The ones with a note show up with their title and comment, not with an address nobody could remember. One tap and they open.

Save it from any app

Share a link, a photo or some text to keepasa, pick one of your chats or create a new one for yourself, and give it a title and a note before saving it.

All your notes, close at hand

“My notes” gathers the notes from every chat, with their dates. One tap takes you back to the message you annotated.

Is there a limit on chats for me?

No. Create as many as you need: one per topic, per project or per trip. They all appear in Chats, under “Me”.

Can other people see my notes?

No. Only you can see a private note, even in a room or in a chat with someone else. It's encrypted on your phone and the server only delivers it to you.

Can I change or remove a note?

Yes, whenever you like. Press and hold the message and choose “Edit private note”: that's where you change or remove it.
