Closed by default
A new room starts out closed: only its admins can invite. If you open it, any member can bring in other people, and each one appears with who invited them. You decide.
Threads by topic
Inside the room you open threads: the birthday, the gift, the holidays. Each thread has its own messages and photos, and you can follow up on a message in a new thread.
Polls, lists and tasks
Decide together with a poll, share things out with a who-brings-what list, and add exam or deadline dates that notify everyone.
Quiet in class
Add your class schedule and keepasa stays silent while class is on: no notifications or vibration, just your notebook open.
Who's who
In the room's member list you see who runs it, who's outside your circle and who invited each person. Strangers: none.

How many people fit in a room?
keepasa rooms are for groups who know each other: families, groups of friends, classes. There are no channels or mass communities.
Can someone in a room message me privately?
Only if they're already in your circle. If not, they can ask someone who knows you both to introduce you, and you decide.
